WOMEN OF THE WICK

Women of the Wick is a feminist media and consultancy elevating diverse storytelling in cities.

STORYTELLING

We all have a story to tell.

Born in Hackney Wick, East London, Women of the wick exists to elevate the voices, work and visibility of women and marginalised genders and democratise media spaces through storytelling.

As an independent media, you can support our journey by listening to the Girl Get A Real Job podcast, subscribing to the newsletter, joining our community events or getting a copy of the annual print magazine WOWZINE.

We also host, design and deliver educational storytelling workshops helping creatives to go beyond their why and share their mission with the world. One story at a time.

PODCAST

We’ve been telling thought-provoking and inspiring stories of artists, activists and academics through podcasts, live events and writing since the launch of our first episode.

Girl, Get A Real Job is our new podcast series and community for creative freelancers who are serious about equality and equity.

Our aim? To normalise money conversations amongst creative freelancers and entrepreneurs. We want to ensure that every creative graduate and small business owner understands the worth of their creative work.

The change starts by speaking up. Listen and join!
